Thank to all family and friends who attended our class assembly this morning. It was lovely to see you and we are very proud of all the children. They remembered their words and performed and sang beautifully.
In R.E. we made our Lenten Promises and here they are....
The children spent the afternoon outside
exploring the school grounds. They
discussed “What is a natural object” and linked Maths with their exploration as
they searched for a different number of natural objects and used them to make
shapes and patterns. They found a huge collection of sticks and practised
number formation with them.
They were very excited to find a number of mini
beasts. They identified the similarities
and differences between the different bugs.
They learnt many new interesting facts, for example, that a woodlouse
has 14 legs and a spider has 8 eyes!
